Tuesday the 24th of September 2024 and the title of today's reflection is going to be all for you. So there's a video that I was kind of like watching yesterday which was effectively talking about the fatality of the music industry.
And to kind of like summarize it, artists are making less and less money from the music industry.
The music industry itself is effectively shrinking according to the findings of this video and effectively the kind of like the days of old which were like you know the golden days of the golden era of the music video industry has kind of like disappeared as kind of like now artists are having to do more than just effectively sell CDs to effectively become profitable they're actually having to piggyback on the success of kind of like the streaming industry and the you know kind of like the gaming
industry and other kind of like neighboring industries in order to kind of like, you know Kind of like get by and it makes me think about some kind of like the way that I feel personally and like, you know You know maybe Wondering about what other people may think when it comes to kind of like, you know The hopes and the aspirations that I have about becoming a successful kind of that rap artist, you know, I
Guess I kind of come to the conclusion that irrespective of the adversities and the bad news and the negative news and the meek and bleak news that I get, I still have to find meaning and I still have to find purpose in what I do. I still have to find hope and belief that I will be able to become successful and from that hope I have to find a practical means and a practical measure by which I will be able to not necessarily defy the odds but effectively find the happiness that is effectively tailored for me.
You know of course I do want to become you know financially successful, massively financially successful from the thing that I love to do and it's hard, it makes it hard for me to kind of like listen and you know listen to information like this you know kind of like you know falling into belief that effectively I'm making some kind of like I'm not effectively making the right decisions when it comes to the industry that I'm choosing to get into however like you know I always have to focus on the positives I always have to look for the
solutions I always have to look for the you know for the I guess the anomaly I always have to look for the you know after you know I can't pay attention to you know the things that everybody else is doing. I have to find my own way out and navigate my own way through success irrespective of whether that success may not be accessible to everybody else.
