I'm not exactly an expert on this so bear with me if this goes wrong.
Imagine you're a rocket, and you are let's say shot from some sort of scientific base. You fly through the stratosphere, atmosphere, whatever they call it and then you enter into deep space. Let's say that after you've travelled into space you're and you just carry on going, you fly past the planets, you fly past…maybe even to the end of the galaxy and then you start flying through other galaxies and then you keep on going and going.
Let's say you carry on going for so long to the point in which you’re at the end of space itself and suddenly you just disappear because well…I'm not entirely certain if that’s how things work but at the same time lets just say you disappear because you've flown yourself out of your own existence.
What if you never looked back? What if you never looked to see the places that you've been, the places that you've passed, the things that you have accomplished? This is the reason why no matter what it is that you do, no matter how much time you dedicate to your passion without losing a second a moment of concentration, you should always look back and smile at your accomplishments.
No matter how small the steps you think you take, you should always celebrate every single accomplishment even if it's getting out of bed and I say this because misery will find you wherever you go if you become obsessed with an outcome that sometimes is beyond your control to achieve.
Do you want to be able to look back and tell yourself that despite all of the things that haven't gone your way you were still able to make headway? You want to look back because you will have accomplished so much more than what you thought you were going to accomplish because you simply chose to carry on going.
