Okay cool so Thursday the 5th of December 2024 and the title of today's reflection is going to be as within so without which I don't really I don't actually have the greatest handle on the significance of that saying but I guess I wanted to title this reflection in that style because
again I'm kind of like you know I've reading back some of the stuff. Again, in order for me to kind of like stay cohesive with the stuff that I'm doing, I'm actually starting to look back at my reflections and something that I looked at in recent kind of like history had something to do with like how, like, you know, I think it literally says here, lately I've been thinking about how much of my life, you know,
is spent chasing happiness through things, relationships or achievements, but maybe the joy I'm searching for doesn't lie in digging deep into complexity maybe it's closer than I think waiting in the little things that I've overlooked and you know I kind of like want to expand a little bit on that because is that there's this kind of like
realization like you know I started very slowly and I described this in the same way that I described not a light switch not a typical light switch that goes from on and off but a light switch that's more of like a dial so like you know I guess awareness truth maturity to a certain
extent they Increase in brightness like a light that's been set up like a dial The older that I get but you know my light although it was dim like in initially kind of like I started off You know questioning You know how you know what is it that really kind of like defines my value as a human being on my value as a person Is it you know kind of like the things that I wear the status that I have?
I guess in many cases this is true. The program that we have created for ourselves as human beings means that your status and your value is completely and totally defined by, I guess to a certain extent, your environment, where you are, who you're with, what you're wearing, whether you're revered or whatever it is.
And you know, I started to kind of like, I wouldn't, I don't want to say bypass or I don't want to say cheat because all these words kind of like come with these negative connotations. I guess I started changing that perspective. I started placing my value as a human being on the mere fact that I'm actually here. I'm present, I'm alive and there will never be another me again.
Like I can't, I can't, you know, that's kind of like one of the statements that I deliver with the greatest deal of confidence because it is true and That's where I played. You know that's how I value myself. I value myself as irreplaceable You know irreplaceable like there will never be another me again And that's the attitude that I try to I guess have towards myself because I rely on that attitude I rely on that confidence to be able to withstand some of the harsh and Treacherous freaking challenges that life has to throw at me.
So with that being said, because I do have to go, unfortunately I can't sit here and talk all day. Like, the things that we live with, you know, the things that we effectively use, this isn't to say that by the way, this isn't to say that I'm not going to have to use these things to, you know, to persuade people or to convince people to a certain extent that I'm valued, you know, that my worth is of a certain degree. But I understand that with or without these things I am still one of the most just like you guys are one of the most phenomenal things to have ever come into existence when it comes to the history of planet earth.
