Be Quiet Most Of The Time

Writer's picture: Made EzeMade Eze

I’m not entirely certain work is supposed to be talked about. What do I mean when I say this? Well to put it as plainly as I can express myself it’s like this: Let’s say I walk into a high end vehicle showroom where the latest model is about to be unveiled whilst I stand amongst a bunch of rich people talking about the weather in the meantime.

When that vehicle finally gets unveiled, most of the conversations will be about how great and how brilliant the product is. Nobody is going to talk about how intrinsically challenging it must have been for the production team to bring that product into existence. With that being said, why am I mentioning this?

I think my journey and anybody else’s journey or process in the making of anything great will ever be designed for the flashing lights that come right at the very end of an extremely tough bout with trial and error. I’m not even sure if consumers themselves are at all designed in a way that excites them to know how the soup is made.

I think there are some people and places where I can talk about my process. I also think those places are important because the lengthy period of any process will inevitably come with heavy degrees of frustration will always be best spoken about.

With all of that being said though I don’t think people will care about how I get to the pinnacle point of my journey. People will just simply care that I’m there, so as sad as it will be I must admit, I’ll probably be happier to keep quiet about most of the work it’s taken me to get me to where I want to be. People simply won’t care for it.
