Right now the kids are running rampant around the house, the dogs although one more than the other, are looking for ways to entertain themselves and it’s almost tempting me to plant eyes at the back of my head. My partner is getting ready to leave, my house is in a mess and here I am jotting this reflection down to let the world know that whilst I was in the process of pursuing my dreams, the life that lived around me was in complete chaos.
I’ve still got to build my post slides and make some images for my posting schedule before I work my way through my untidy house and get ready to leave my house to start my side hustle. I’ve been unwilling to get out of bed since 6am this morning because of this jarring flu and if I’m being openly honest, I’ve only been up and about since 1pm. It’s now 15:00.
I’m beginning to feel a lot happier both about my progress and process. That blurry image of how I was going to build awareness around my brand is becoming clearer by the day, and I’m planning to put some things in place that will organically welcome the initial wave of eyes to both Cally x Eze and diaryofarapdragon.com
Yesterday I did some research to find the top 20 blog sites that post content based on UK Hip Hop. Not only has this reminded me that my genre struggles to align with the current mainstream sound but I have also found a series of platforms where my next releases will be more likely to resonate. All I need to do is reach out.
I’ve also built some inspiration from some of the designs I’ve observed on this independent websites and hopefully Ill have my blogs fully locked and loaded, ready for the first artist outside of my brand to feature on my site.
