Enjoy Your Art

Writer's picture: Made EzeMade Eze

Tuesday the 23rd of July 2024 and the title of this reflection is going to be Enjoy Your Art. So like literally earlier this morning I was listening to one of my favorite songs, a song that literally became my favorite about two hours ago when I realized not necessarily how good it

is because I don't want to necessarily kind of like enter into the habit of bragging about how good my music is but more so because of like how much I enjoy listening to it through the understanding of all the different

meanings the different nuances and all of the things that I'm effectively trying to express in this song you know and if I haven't mentioned the title of this song this song is effectively called BTD which is an acronym for behind the deck and whilst that the title of the song has got nothing to do with what I'm talking about in the song itself it's just like, you know, it's a song that I just really, really, really enjoy listening to for the intricacies that I've been able to put together, for the ideas that I've been able to put together

the rhymes, the lyrics that I've been able to put together all the different meanings and the different contexts that I've kind of like pulled together from like different places and stuff like that. I really do enjoy to kind of like put together music and messages that are taken from like different parables, different characters, different scenes, movies, like you know all things that I glue together and almost bring together is almost some sort of puzzle. But again the whole notion or the whole essence of this reflection is like you know I wouldn't have really you know enjoyed you know on this piece

if i didn't give myself the permission to do so like again the process of becoming an artist like home really does take its toll on you when you don't kinda like allow yourself to enjoy the music that you create of course yes we are all trying to kinda like get to a certain standard we all want

a certain standard we'll want excellence of our music however at the same time like it is also very important to enjoy the art that we create. It's tricky, considering the fact that we all have to put in a certain degree of hours before we actually get good at making music. However, it can still be enjoyed and it is a process of allowance. It is literally just allowing yourself to enjoy this music as though you weren't the

person that actually created it. And that's effectively the whole point of this reflection. So without adding any more verbiage into it, enjoy your art.
