Okay, Monday the 9th of September 2024 and the title of today's Reflection is going to be escapism. So there were a lot of things that I was supposed to do today work related non work related music related non music related Which isn't related to whatever it is that isn't
work related and I just ended up sitting on my freaking TV screen playing Assassin's Creed
like sometimes this is like the best form of escapism and also the most effective means of like procrastination which isn't great but then sometimes procrastination is literally like the mind just doing its best to effectively protect itself from like over stimulation, maybe stress and other, I don't know, like mental related like kind of like difficulties if that makes sense.
But yeah, like I just find myself basically sitting down playing Assassin's Creed. At the same time, however, I must admit that whilst I'm playing through this game and you know again I prefer to basically play like you know the older series, the older games in the series rather than the newer ones. Like, I am still trying to think about how I can incorporate how I can incorporate this time that I spend playing video games and basically
turn that into content for my channel because it is actually a big part, it's actually a massive part of my, I would say my brand identity even though I don't have the time to game as much nowadays. Like, a lot of the wealth, when I say wealth I'm talking about the knowledge and I guess influence, a lot of the influence that I basically kind of like, you know gaming has had a massive, massive influence on my life. I would say specifically it's actually had an influence in the way that I perceive reality, perceive
society, perceive people and everything as such. Like honestly, like I believe it is one of the key fundamental factors that actually shapes the way that I view things and also the way that I construct my ideas, my arguments to a certain extent is all kind of like on their linguistics and the languages and the understanding of like gaming and how things are being put together. But yeah, like sometimes I just need to escape even when I can't afford to. Like sometimes like that is effectively like the best option, you know, so that I don't effectively self-destruct. But yeah, anyway that's basically me. Hopefully I'll have an update for you guys tomorrow.
