Oh, what's that? All right, cool. So Wednesday the 27th of November 2024, and the title of today's reflection is going to be eye candy. There's something about the distant future that for some reason always kind of like rings
promising in the ears of like people in general, or kind of like the average person, so to speak. For some reason, the future is always kind of like quantitative with this kind of like positive thing like you know kind of like you know like a forward trajectory is automatically by default a good thing or a positive thing but that isn't to say just because that we're moving
forward that we're effectively kind of like moving in a great direction like um you know did you know this is like you know I feel like this kind of that notion can be applied to like so many different things like whether technology is kind of like going in the right direction whether we as human beings when it comes to our morality are going in the right direction and these are the things that can kind of like keep people up into the extremely late hours of the night you
know never to really come to some sort of like conclusion so I don't know at the moment I'm feeling a little bit weird because it's like I feel like it's important for us to know and for us to kind of be able to discern the difference between Good a good forward trajectory and a bad forward trajectory if I'm being honest we have to kind of like remind ourselves every day why we're doing what we're doing and we have to continue to
Evaluate like every now and again or if not as often as possible Kind of like in a weather we're actually kind of like going in a you know in a positive trajectory so to speak like yeah all of this all of this is to say like you know all of this came from I don't know I don't really want to talk too badly on you know kind of like kind of like legacies so to speak things that I've been you know people and organizations and companies that have been making products you know for
decades on in I don't want to begin to speak too much on those, but all of this just basically came from this idea, from this notion that something is good just because it's been doing great for a very long time and by default it doesn't matter what they do, it's just good, which for a very long time and by default it doesn't matter what they do, it's just good, which just simply isn't the case.
