Harmony in Chaos: Navigating a Multifaceted Workload Journey

Writer's picture: Made EzeMade Eze

So, one of the phrases that has been appearing more often in my vocabulary recently, is that I can't seem to tell my a** from my face. Usually I would follow up a sentence like this by saying that I'm not exactly sure why, but on this occasion the reason for my confusion is very clear.

At the moment my workload is spreading far and wide, and whilst I'm no stranger to a long stream of tasks, when it comes to work that spans across a range of different departments, that is when I become unstuck.

Off the top of my head, I can think of at least three different areas where my mind needs focus and attention. I've got personal admin that I need to take care of for my everyday living, I've got things in my regular work routine that I need to adjust for any upcoming financial challenges, and I've got an ocean worth of work that I need to focus on when it comes to my music.

In my music alone there's a backlog of stuff that I need to do in the creative department where I record my music and create content around it. I also have a lot of work in the business side of music where I need to optimise my blog and prepare myself for a new routine for networking purposes, not to mention all of the expenses that come with the management of everything put together.

I know at some point I will need to get started with something so that I can clear this cloud that’s currently fogging my mind, but for now I’ll see if I can map some things out in a way where I can understand and prioritise my work more efficiently.
