Okay, Thursday the 28th of November 2024 and the title of today's reflection is going to be in simplicity. So, I guess I've been just you know just doing my everyday thing, living life, interacting with people, just being sociable to a certain extent, keeping up appearances, just
kind of like, you know, effectively just trying, you know, trying my best to be a human being. And it's just, what is it that I'm noticing really, like, you know, I guess a lot of
conversations that revolve around this thing that I think that we're really just looking for, I guess, at the end of the day, like, it's just this one thing. And it sometimes kind of like takes the form of like, you know, I guess, you know, material things that we want, situational things that we want, you know, partnerships, relationships that we want.
And I feel like for the most part, it just basically kind of like comes back to this, you know, feeling of this desire, this longing to be peaceful, to be sound, and to be happy, really. Like, doesn't matter how, you know,
how that happiness is obtained ultimately that is what we're all seeking for and You know sometimes I just think about all the things that I guess I'm trying to do to obtain happiness to obtain fulfillment to obtain wholesomeness And I feel like sometimes. I'm just basically you know shoveling my way down I guess a hole that effectively doesn't really provide any of that.
And, well, to a certain extent it does. What I'm looking for is, you know, found very, very deep, I guess, in this hole that's, you know, quite far down. When really and truthfully, like, you know, the everlasting joy and the everlasting happiness that I guess I'm looking for can be found much closer to the surface if I just look for it in the right place, in simplicity.
