Made For This

Wednesday the 11th of September 2024 and the title of today's reflection is going to be made for this. So I'm effectively recording this after having performed my open mic performance at the 4th Portal and yeah, it's safe to say that things went well if I'm being sincere.

Like when I kind of like reflect upon it from a personal standard, there is massive room for improvement.

Again, this isn't necessarily about, you know, being harsh or being critical to kind of like my performance, but it's kind of like recognizing and pinpointing the areas where I can improve massively. Like, you know, I do, you know, despite the fact that people may kind of like absorb me, people may kind of like, I guess, praise me for, you know, for my performance, I still have to a certain degree a standard that I uphold myself by and this is entirely my choice. effectively become a rap artist. This wasn't exactly like you know something that people or gamers would define as a main mission. This was more like a side

quest so to speak. Something that takes me away from kind of like my main train or my main course. But it was definitely very meaningful. It was definitely very powerful and it has massively like you know it's a you know like I said I've performed here before but it has massively opened my mind and opened my eyes to kind of like the world of not just performing arts but then also avant-garde, just art in general, kind of like music in general. It's opened up my eyes especially like in the departments of digital art and

how things have evolved over time. Like I said before, the fourth portal is an intimate space and it is definitely kind of like a very experimental space that definitely got a different performance out of me. But, you know, overall I would say that everything went well and I am now kind of like in the process of trying to gather everything that I've got for the experience, all the details of the people that I've met and effectively kind of like make them a part of my journal, begin to kind of like move forward and see

what's next for me as an artist. I know I still have a blog to work towards, I still have some music that I need to release and I just kind of like need to put my mind together and get in that process started.
