My last reflection reminded me of this idea that I had for a video series that I’m hoping to start soon. I want to add to the dimensions that I’m creating by jotting my thoughts down on a daily basis because it will thicken the depth and quality of my music In the longer run.
So far I’m just recording whatever comes to my mind but further down the line, I really want to streamline my thoughts in a way that allows me to draw ideas from the music that I’ve got out there already, and the music that I’m yet to release: I want my daily reflections to become an extension of the themes that I express in my music.
But anywho, back to this idea that I’ve been having in mind. So this video that I’m thinking about is essentially me talking about the things that I hate to do but choose to do them anyway for the love of making rap music.
The subtle edge to this idea involves me talking about how the list of things that I hate doing has increased over time, and yet I find myself still engaged in this pursuit because the love that I have for this art form simply keeps me going.
My confidence in putting myself in front of the camera to talk about these things has been increasing more and more as of late. I’m not entirely sure why but I’m definitely not going to start complaining about it anytime soon.
