Right now, I’m thinking about everything that’s happened today, and I’m not entirely certain I’ll be able to express all the emotions that I’ve gone through over the last 24 hours.
For the most part I will say that I’m feeling pretty good. As a matter of fact, I’m feeling pretty great because I had an opportunity to elevate my position in this industry and I didn’t hesitate to take it.
At the same time what I find it difficult to ignore is the energy that I have to put into this in order to keep it moving. I am constantly making my best efforts to make sure that I remain aware about the pitfalls of working too hard, or not paying attention to my emotional and physical gas tank .
I guess in other words, I could say that I have been able to push myself further up the rungs of the ladder, but I also have to ask myself at what cost? I want to make sure that as I continue to grow along this journey, I am careful to remain objective in my evaluation of how well I’m doing.
Either way, I’ve got every reason to celebrate tonight. I met a really cool person who also happens to be a DJ, and despite having spent 12 hours labouring to print a series of books, I have also been able to work towards my personal dream, and I now know a little more about music industry.
