Okay, so Saturday the 7th of December 2024 and the title of today's reflection is going to be my understanding. Now I tend to effectively bump into people that I guess because they have a different perspective, a different outlook, a different program to the way that you know I
guess they view and they interpret reality so to speak. Because of that they effectively have like different perspectives particularly when it comes to kind of like navigating your way through the music industry, when it comes to networks and relationships. Now personally like if you ask me when it comes to the interpersonal, when it comes to the human kind of like engagement from person to person in the music industry, one that I personally believe is effectively kind of like unchecked again I'm struggling to find the words for it here but again there's not a lot of kind of like I guess assimilating if that makes sense kind of like when it comes to kind of like people's personalities and stuff
like that so there's kind of like situations where effectively the music industry is a place where the ego can run rampant and it's not just people's egos that run rampant is also people's greed. And I'm not sitting here to effectively kind of like call people out because I can be wired in exactly the same fashion.
We effectively kind of like go to a lot of places and go to a lot of events with the kind of like mindset of figuring out what it is that we can gain from people as opposed to like what it is that we can give. And my understanding of this kind of like setup, I suppose, allows me to navigate through this industry with a bit more fluidity whilst I'm still
kind of like in the early steps kind of like when it comes to like my net worth and stuff like that. I understand that effectively people are there not necessarily to take advantage although we could use to take advantage for lack of a better expression. I effectively understand that there is a nature to this game that we are effectively trying to play. Now of course I understand that for many reasons we have to effectively protect ourselves individually as well as brands you know as well as protecting our brand, you know protecting our
business, protecting the people that you know will effectively like rely upon us especially in the beginning like you know as time goes on I will begin to develop my own team and you know my team will effectively rely on me to be as clean as a whistle when it comes to my brand and my look and all of these other things and stuff like that. So unfortunately I do have to protect myself and protect my own interest and constantly be on the lookout to see what it is that I can gain, not necessarily from people but
again I guess relationships and collaborations and stuff like that. It has to make sense. But my understanding of it is that everybody is effectively out there to gain something from me and I don't really take that personally because that's effectively how it's been designed. Of course, things could be better but I genuinely do believe that there is never, never, ever, ever a limit to how worse things could be.
