People’s Feelings

Writer's picture: Made EzeMade Eze

I can see my music career heavily leading me down a path of psychological discover. I truly believe I create my music to achieve the highest degree of understanding when it comes to who I truly am, and I hope that by doing so, I inspire others to do the same.

It’s surprising to see the ways in which art and psychology is often linked. Right now I’m thinking about people’s feelings because in the course of my brief lifetime, I have tried to decide the best manner and approach to deal with other people’s feelings, especially when they have a positive or negative correlation with my own.

I have lived both mindfully, and ignorantly of other people’s emotions, and despite having done so I am yet to come to a firm conclusion as to how other people’s emotions should really be approached or treated.

People are surprisingly and unsurprisingly challenging to generalise. In my efforts to understand my relationships with other people I have found that sometimes, being mindful of other peoples emotions could actually be a disservice both to myself and to others, whilst being ignorant could prove to be nasty but acute mode of communication.

I’ve come to the conclusion however that people’s feelings are going to get hurt. What I mean by that is I’m going to continue hurting people despite me acting with the highest of my intentions. The mind bending challenge with that realisation is that whilst that pill might be too easy to digest at times, sometimes it’s not the easiest pill to swallow.
