Wednesday the 6th of November 2024 and the title of today's reflection is going to be pressure. So when I was a little kid, right, life was very very different which just kind of like tells you a little bit about how old I am now. It's a little bit depressing but when I was a little
kid I just kind of like I used to experience life again. Life was kind of like it was easy if that makes sense like I'm not entirely certain if I'm going with a decent flow here but what I'm trying to say is that like what I experienced back then was difficult for me in the sense you in the sense of like you know if I was to what if I was to experience the troubles and the difficulties that I had back then now I would find them easy if that makes sense and effectively kind of like you know the heat of this, the difficulty and how hard life actually is,
has been turning up slowly ever since. Like you barely notice it between the ages of one, or one more, from three to seven. You start to feel the heat a little bit when you get to your teenage years. You do start to get a couple of bumps here and there,
especially towards your late teenage years. And then maybe you might get a couple of like hooks and heavy hits kind of like when you get to like your, you know, your early 20s. But you know, and you know, again, depending on individual experiences,
again, some of these heavy hitters might come like, you know, way before that or way after that, or maybe not at all if that makes any particular sense. And it's just kind of like, I don't know, the whole idea and the whole notion of it, I guess, fascinates me to a certain degree because it's like life never ever seems to stop getting harder.
The pressure continues to build and it's like, I guess, it's up to us to a certain extent to effectively make life as manageable as possible, as contestable as possible, as negotiable as possible like we negotiate our way into this universe like this is effectively like you know what we're supposed to do and we're supposed to use our resources towards that rather than putting ourselves in
compromising positions where things just kind of like get harder um like you know kind of like wars get bloodier and yet you know the sword that we kind of like carry upon our hands gets weaker and weaker more brittle if that makes any sense
