Monday the 4th of November 2024 and the title of today's reflection is going to be reflection. Now I'm actually thinking about sort of like you know the type of reflection that you would see effectively if you were looking kind of like looking straight kind of like looking at the face of a
lake or looking at a lake from like the top down area you know from like the birds eye view type of way. Or it's like you were looking directly into an ocean or maybe you were looking directly into a river. I'm also
thinking of the sort of reflection where kind of like you know, it's almost like you are looking at a mirror to a certain extent. But it's almost like two sides of the same coin if that makes sense. It's like you know, kind of like up being down and down being up. I'm not entirely certain if I'm making a lot of sense, but I'm kind of like babbling on to effectively say that there are times where I kind of like look
at the reflection of my own music, kind of like listening to my own art is almost like looking at the reflection in the mirror. I listen to my own music and you know, I really enjoy it. Kind of like with each second that kind of like goes by, I want to hear more and more and more.
Like, you know, I'm not picking it apart for its mix. I'm not picking apart for, you know, for its kind of like, you know, whether it's underwritten, overwritten, underperformed, overperformed, under-recorded, over-recorded, I'm not picking it apart, I'm enjoying it.
It sounds nice, it sounds cool, I want to share it to a million people.
And then there are days where I kind of look at the mirror
and I think, you know, the complete opposite. And like, you know, I kind of like, it feels like I'm lifting a heavy anvil just at the thought of having to share this kind of like, material with anybody or whatever it is, because I think it's absolutely rubbish.
This that and the third is all just a little bit crazy I guess but yeah like you know it's a bit of an interesting phenomenon because again the reflection doesn't change, the image doesn't effectively change but my perception of the actual image changes like how fascinating doesn't effectively change but my perception of the actual image changes like how fascinating and how weird is that.
