Alright cool, so we're going to be looking at I think Tuesday 7th of January 2024 and the title of today's reflection is going to be Story Behind Rapping. So for anybody that doesn't know, I've got a song out there called Rapping, I believe it came out at some point in the summer of
last year and yeah, like it's effectively a song. So like again, this is the story behind rapping.
Now I actually wrote this song in prison. Hopefully I'm going to be able to keep in topic when it comes to talking about this song. But effectively, I don't know, this isn't one of the songs that I've worked on to have great depth when it comes to story line, when it comes to messaging. This was just something that I wrote in a very carefree style. So for those of you who don't know, in fact pretty much everybody doesn't know this but when I started writing in prison right I started kind of like developing kind of like not different ways to write but I
would have different modes really and truthfully there's only two that I can think of there was the mode where I was aiming for something that was quite deep and something that was quite there was a great deal of depth behind it and there were certain songs that I did just because I wanted to get my verbal diarrhea out of the way and I feel like this is one of those songs it doesn't take anything away from the quality per se but it's not one of those songs where i was aiming to go super
deep or super dense in any topic i was just basically trying to keep it keep it strictly um you know strictly not casual but i was trying to you know approach it with a very casual writing style so like you know the song in itself like i don't know it's crazy because really and truthfully there's no real storyline behind the song rapping but it is just a song about kind of like what I'm doing on a day to day so I feel
like the beginning song actually you know the opening concept I'm talking about kind of like you know making my way back from work and the sort of like comical and funny thoughts that come to mind on my way back to work you know you know back from work especially kind of like given the things that I was going through at the time but I'll probably talk about it a little bit later because I'm running out of time but yeah like I really want to nail down the storyline behind this song because even though like again I haven't thought about it with a great deal of depth There still is a definition that there's still a storyline behind the song and I want to talk about it more often So yeah, definitely looking forward to that
