Monday the 26th of August 2024 and the title of today's reflection is going to be the Law of Attraction. Now over the past 24 hours I've been reflecting over something that I visually, basically like visually remember seeing when I was watching like Bob Proctor and for
anybody who doesn't know Bob Proctor was kind of like one of the leading heads I guess like when it came to kind of like popularizing the Law of Attraction and how it was actually supposed to work.
Like I remember when I was just basically sat in one of his webinars, this was like not long before he's passing and he was talking about how like you know the law of attraction isn't something that's just some magical hairy fairy sort of like a, I don't know, way of just basically kind of like getting what it is that you want out of life and out of the universe. There is an actual scientific foundation that basically, I guess in a very weird way, sets this whole concept in stone. Now I'm not here to argue whether the law of attraction
is or isn't factual to a certain degree because I guess it is quite controversial. It is also highly criticised. However, what I do want to talk about is effectively the thing that I remember, kind of like, I guess distinctively remembering when I was watching one of the webinars. And it was right at the end, it was right at the end of the webinar when he was saying, don't think about not doing this course or not taking the leap of faith and kind of like enrolling onto this course because that's your paradigm that's doing this to you.
And I remember just kind of like, you know, reflecting over this a bunch of times because effectively like any webinar of course they're going to sell you on something at the end. Notoriously when it comes to that this whole webinar game like many of these things are scams like you know a lot of these things are just basically scams or ways you know ways for kind of like somebody to just kind of like get as much cash from you as possible for something that doesn't really kind of like deliver on what they promise but
but again that isn't to say that some of these webinars aren't effectively true or aren't legitimate And I remember at the time not necessarily trying to think about whether a Bob Proctor was trying to scam me or not But I was trying to effectively. I don't know like I was just basically trying to Masticate in a certain sense. I was trying to effectively chew over all of the information that was thrown at me in the space of the hour because you know Bob Proctor went to talk on about a lot and effectively like when it comes to paradigms apparently these are the things that effectively
are the foundations of what we believe about ourselves and about the universe and they effectively you know the color you know the color and they crystallize our own realities because effectively it shapes and it molds our actions because of our thoughts because of the color and the shape of our thoughts the color and the shape of our thoughts mirror the color and the shape of our actions. So let's say for example if we genuinely do not believe that we're unable to get a job, we're never
going to try to actually apply for it in the first place. Whereas if we actually believe or if we do not have those thoughts or those limitations in our mind, there is effectively nothing stopping us from doing that thing that we deem necessary in order for us to actually get what it is that we want out of this universe. So what is it that I'm trying to talk about really? I'm trying to effectively say that removing all of the technical jargon behind the law of attraction, effectively the law
of attraction is literally about removing all doubt from the possibility that you might be able to actually get something that you really really want out of life and that is effectively foregoing all of the thoughts that do not correlate with this thing that you desire and yeah like I guess in a roundabout way that's just literally about it. I kind of like want to close off by effectively just kind of like coming back again to what Bob Proctor was kind of like talking about
when he says you know that's your paradigm that's doing it to you and you know I started paying attention to the things that I was stopping myself from doing. For example, getting back to my messages on my Instagram. I had so many DMs that I hadn't replied to. I was like, man, what's wrong with me? Why am I not getting back to all of these DMs?
and um... it's like a part of me was saying like you know maybe I'm overwhelmed maybe I can't or maybe I shouldn't or that there are these thoughts that are effectively creating this anxiety that's holding me back from replying to these messages and engaging with these people on social media
and I've been doing that all since kind of like yesterday evening and now all of a sudden I'm watching my views go up and watching my engagement go up so you see maybe like there is something about this whole paradigm thing that effectively want. Maybe the law of attraction isn't some sort of like hairy fairy business and maybe there is an actual science behind manifesting the reality or the situation or the person or the book or the success goal that we actually want situation or the person or the book or the success goal that we actually want out of life.
