Okay, so Wednesday the 7th of August 2024 and the title of today's reflection is going to be The Next Hit. Like literally the next hit of joy, the next hit of kind of like a fulfillment, enlightenment, anything at all that can be connected or relatable to the feeling of being
positive, the feeling of being fulfilled. I think yesterday morning I actually woke up at something like 3.30 in the morning because I was really excited to work on this very specific lyric video. Something
that I haven't done in a long time but it's kind of like you know it's crazy because it's like I sat down to effectively kind of like put all of these pieces of media together and it was in that process that I immediately began to feel this excitement because again I'm bringing a song to life in this process like you know yes it is beautiful to put together words, put together phrases and finally record them onto a piece. However, once you actually begin to then create a visual image
of that piece, a visual image that you can use, which is effectively an asset, it's an asset that you can use to share to dozens, if not hundreds of different people. My day people, like my day becomes extremely exciting, like you know it goes way beyond like you know the excitement that I may get from being out in the sun and which of course is still very nice, you know going to work and trying to find means to just basically kind of like get by, it goes completely beyond that because this is now the process that is effectively
bringing out this idea that I've been having. I get very excited about a piece of content that I know is going to look really good and is going to not necessarily engage very well because I'm still learning how to engage through content. But I get really excited about bringing it out because I know that as soon as I have that link, as soon as I have the video there and it's beautiful and it's amazing and it's engaging and it's just different and it's compelling, all I have to do is
just basically put it in somebody's inbox, put it in somebody's WhatsApp messages, put it in somebody's Facebook messages, put it in somebody's Instagram DMs, TikTok DMs, all I have to do is just basically share it and get them to leave a like and a comment and stuff like that excites me. But literally it's funny how I guess in a way we're all looking for the next hit we're all looking for that next big break you know that that thing that just
basically means like since that moment everything started to cascade since then but me personally I was surprised pleasantly by you know the next hit which was kinda like you know the feeling of excitement like oh my gosh I want to create again I really want to put this stuff together again and it's it's all interesting stuff.
