Okay so Thursday the 4th of July 2024 so like I've got a bunch of reflections that I need to catch up on because I haven't been kind of like documenting my journey literally for the past three days so like literally like it's gonna be like one hectic afternoon like it's literally coming up to five o'clock and I've got all of these things to catch up on. Usually it takes me about half
an hour to just basically get everything done but because I've got three of them it's probably gonna take me like an hour and a half which is a free It's a song that I've uploaded to YouTube and like I said I want to get this song to like 300 you know I want to get it to a thousand views and it's currently sitting at 373 after um after the song being out for like about 11 days it's got a you know it's got 18 likes it's got 29 comments which isn't too bad but I was looking at the analytics and I was paying attention
to like where majority of the source you know where majority of the views were coming from so you know like you know a healthy percentage was coming from the United Kingdom, a healthy percentage was coming from the United States. It was also interesting to notice how people from the United States were listening to my song for longer than the people who were actually coming
from the United Kingdom. So this is beginning to paint a bit of a digital picture and a bit of an analytical picture as to who actually consumes my music more than who, if that makes any sense at all. And again, it kind of ties back to what I was trying
to talk about when I was saying you really have to be committed and you have to be dedicated in order to understand you know in order to kind of like get the you know the success that you want um the financial success the you know um financial freedom so to speak so kind of like you know kind of like do your music full-time you really have to dedicate yourself to the numbers and you know because these you know it's very difficult to kind of like paint a clear picture and get anywhere
without understanding numbers especially when it comes to analytics putting your songs out there and stuff like that and you know it all effectively comes down to like recognizing and understanding your fans. Maybe it might not correlate to numbers but you're definitely going to get to know your fans if you want to become successful anyway.
