Sunday the 16th of June 2024 and you know before I want to start talking about anything at all like I just I guess I just congratulations are in order to myself really because like this is a third time this is the third time of the year when it comes to like the reflections that I've been
doing so with that being said I think I've been doing this so far when it comes to this year anyway I've been keeping up with these daily reflections every single day since January. So I guess some
congratulations are in order to myself. But I wanted to just basically focus on the strength of a father considering the fact that it's Father's Day today. And yeah, like you know, first and foremost I just want to say I've had a very brilliant, you know, Father's Day. Probably like the best Father's Day I've ever had in the last six years of me being a father. But some of the things that I've experienced today, effectively speaking to my father-in-law, conversations with my father-in-law have highlighted that
wow, the sheer experience of a man when it comes to being a father and being a partner or effectively being the hero of the story. I like to use the word hero because it doesn't necessarily mean that you know men are the heroes like anybody can effectively be the hero like this is something that has been documented although of course that ratio is you know kind of like there is a difference in percentages like you know yes like there is a degree of truth that men for the most part historically and traditionally have been the main provider and the main hero of the story but that's me going off on a tangent like the main
takeaway that I want to take from this reflection or that I want to add to this reflection anyway is that like you know when when you know when the media and when the world is screaming that it isn't easy for men it really isn't easy for men like I mean the intricate details and the intricate kind of like complex complications that can happen as a result of things that you know when things don't go well when things aren't working correctly like you know for the person who is not necessarily at the top because I don't want to talk about
this as though it's hierarchical but the person who is responsible, man, like it really really isn't easy and having to figure out how to balance everything correctly like that is like you know anybody who is able to do that like that is an amazing feat because I don't know how the hell somebody, one person is able to fill the boots of so many people and yet for some reason they are just that one person. So yeah, that's all I wanted to leave with today.
