I’m sat here at work most likely spending more time on my phone than I should be…but I have to think my way through todays reflections so I can stay ahead of schedule.
I’ve been thinking about how I performed over the weekend, wondering especially about the point I was hoping to reach by the time the weekend was out.
When I think about it, it turns out that I most likely misjudged the length of time it was going to take me to complete my website. Turns out building a site can very much be like building a house: it often takes time and often at times things can go wrong!
If I haven’t made this clear already, I want to make this site ready for the artists I’m going to write about in my weekly promotional posts.
All the way up until this point I’ve been able to forge ahead with my daily reflections without having to complete my site, but now that I’m going to be collaborating with other people I’ll need this space to become more professional and presentable in standard.
I want the artists I feature on this site to feel as though their song is represented by a well established brand/blog or magazine. If I can make this value clear to them through the articles I write, and the quality of the content I display, I’ll stand to benefit from the promotions both in the short as well as the long run.
