Utopia at the
Fourth Portal

My Open Mic at

Hypermedia

I could use the next paragraph or two trying to compartmentalize the amalgamating complexity of everything that I'm feeling right now, but I'd rather use them instead to tell you about my open mic.

It's surreal to think that this was my second time performing at the Fourth Portal. Business as usual I thought, at times when I was perhaps too faint to absorb how meaningful this was; how meaningful this is, and perhaps, how meaningful this forever will be.

I spent forever working for the little time I could get to put together a performance I felt needed far more will and dedication, but with all of that aside, I gave it my all.

Somewhere in the mild distance leading back to my days of old, lived the burning desire to let the world know this; I possess an art, an art that is serious and compelling, compelling enough for you to behold. I'm glad I've been able to live that boy's wishes through.

The End
of an
Era

Moving My Friend's
Creative Studio

I dont even know how to start this paragraph if I'm being honest. For one this is the first vlog I'm writing about, and two...well it's not exactly an unceremonious one either.

I went out to help a friend close his studio down for business. In the minds of most people there's not a great deal of significance behind that; shit happens, and life moves on.

With that being said on the other hand, I couldn't help but soak my head with all the nuances that made this whole experience a massive deal for both of us. There was no longer any space left for the things of old, and It was time for things to change.

I try for the most part to remind myself that things could be worse but it's hard to gloss over the reality that life can be a serious pain in the ass.

For me personally, it hurts even more when I have to watch someone I care about forgo a passion he greatly adores.

It's all good though, kinda. All we can, should, and will do is focus on the positives. Everything happens for a reason after all.
